• What services do you provide?
  We provide Balloon Twisting, Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos. We can also provide balloon centerpieces, balloon gifts, Balloon Goodie cups.
  
• Which service is more popular?
  Balloon Twisting is by far the most popular service.
  
• How many guests can you service in an hour?
  Generally all of our services can accommodate 15 guests in an hour.
  
• What is your service area?
  My service area can be found on the service area map above. My service area is East of the 23 freeway, West of the 605, North of the 10 freeway and I travel as North far as the Santa Clarita Valley.
  
• Are Latex Twisting Balloons Environmentally friendly?
  Yes, the rubber for latex balloons comes from the sap of rubber trees. These trees are slowly harvested for the sap (about the same way as maple syrup, though not as yummy). These trees can produce sap for about 40+ years. That means the balloons your kids get today could have come from the same tree you got a balloon from as a child.
  After you are done with your balloon we ask that all balloons get popped and disposed of in a trash can. Most studies of latex balloons say they biodegrade in about 1-4 years depending on the environment. I personally have a balloon twister friend that has a farm and he puts all his scraps in his compost and they biodegrade in about a year according to him.
  We never recommend releasing balloons or anything into the environment no matter how friendly it is. No one likes litter.
  
• What age is best for your services
  For any of my services I recommend for ages 3 to 113 years of age.
  
• How soon ahead of an event should I book you?
  I recommend at least 2 months notice for booking. You can always contact me for last minute availability, but the more warning you give me the more likely I am available.
  
• What is your minimum amount of time for a booking?
  For events inside the San Fernando Valley I do parties with a 1 hour minimum. For events outside the SFV I require a minimum of an hour and a half.
  
• What is the booking process?
  First contact me via email, text or phone so I can check the date and time of the booking for availability. When I have ensured your time slot is available I will send you my online booking form. After that when I have your information I will send you my contract via an electronic signing service called SignRequest.com. Once that is complete we are done.
  
• Is cereal soup?
  Although I do see several similarities in Soup and Cereal, I can’t approve of someone calling cereal soup.
  
• What forms of payment do you take?
  For payment I take Cash, Check, Card or Venmo. Some forms of payment require a government issued ID.
  
• Do you do balloon decorations?
  I can provide small decoration services like center pieces and candy cups. I can provide references for large decorating projects or events.
  
• What do you need me to provide at the party or event?
  For private parties I require shade to work in if outdoors. For Spin Art we require a power outlet within 15 feet of where we set up. For Balloon Twisting at large events I require event organizers to arrange a pop up for shade.
  
• I can’t decide between face paint and balloon services. What should I do?
  My rule of thumb is to always book enough time for each child to get one of each service. If there is not enough time to book both, I recommend balloon twisting because it’s my most popular service.
  
• What services can run concurrently?
  For private events I will create balloons for you or provide face painting services. I specialize in both Balloon Twisting and Face Painting. I also have an assistant that can concurrently run either Glitter tattoos or Spin Art. If you would like Balloon Twisting and Spin Art at the same time, no problem.
  
• Who is most likely to play you in a movie?
  I would like to think Brad Pitt or Matt Damon, I honestly think it would be Seth Rogan, which is great because I love that guy.
  
• How long have you been in business?
  I have been in the party industry since 2009, I created Joe’s Party Animals in 2011.
  
• How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?
  The old owl says 3.
  
• What type of events do you do?
  The majority of events that Joe’s Party Animals services are at home or other designated location birthday parties. I regularly do large events over several days with thousands of people, Corporate Events, Holiday Parties, Retirement Parties, Family Reunions, Photoshoots, Film Shoots and more.
  
• What type of appearance do you have at parties and events?
  My party attire consists of Rainbow Doc Martin Boots, bright orange cargo shorts, black and orange Joe’s Party Animals Tshirt, an orange visor with usually really colorful hair (blue, green, etc. depending on the season). With this attire, all the guests know I’m there for a fun activity. There is no worry about the scarrines of alternate costumes or masks with small and older guests.
